LRC’s 4M – Million Mobilized MinistriesMovement
MOBILIZE YOUR MINISTRY - with Prayer, Programs & Proceeds to benefit victims and local programs!
Earlier in American history, underground railroads and safe houses helped slaves reach freedom. Today, we face a similar issue, as thousands of children are kidnapped, sold into sex slavery, abused or inappropriately touched at home. As one can imagine, their journey towards freedom is both tedious and frightening.
We can assist in ending their abuse TODAY, by joining the Million Mobilized Ministries Movement and creating Faith STOPs at your church. Our goal is to mobilize ministries so that abused children will literally have:

LRC’s Week(s) of Prayer:
4th Sunday in October Annually (Oct 27th, 2013)
The Global Week of Prayer for Victims of Crime is an annual signature event of LIFE Recovery Council’s Emerald Ribbon Campaign, a 501c3 non-profit organization. The campaign is an online movement that serves as an educational portal to assist individuals with overcoming the effects of being physically abused, violently attacked, raped, molested, coerced, or otherwise victimized.“The Emerald Ribbon Campaign also empowers individuals, families and churches to take a proactive stance to violence in our communities,” notes Robin Josef, LIFE Recovery Council, Inc. Founder and CEO. As current statistics report that there are an estimated 600,000 registered sex offenders in the United States and 300,000 American children are reportedly lost in the sex trafficking industry. Yet, even more disheartening is the fact that the average serial child molester may have as many as 400 victims in his lifetime. In response to these statistics, LRC’s founder reports, “The faith community must begin to mobilize and support local victim service, sexual assault programs and domestic violence shelters with prayer, prevention programs and proceeds!”
LRC also asks that faith leaders make plans to participate in the Week of Prayer for Victims of Abuse in October 2013, in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
